We are a team of ambitious builders, researchers, and thinkers driven by a shared commitment to understanding and shaping the future of intelligent systems. With combined expertise in computational neuroscience, computer vision, machine learning, and causal reasoning, we work at the intersection of how intelligence perceives, reasons, and acts.

At CausalMind, we aim to create AI that understands the world it decides in. AI that can form grounded, causal models of its environment and make decisions with clarity, intention, and accountability. This mission guides both our research and our products. We care deeply about how decision-making is handed over to AI systems, and we are committed to ensuring that these decisions are safe, explainable, and fair.

Our work is not limited to machine intelligence. We also focus on how AI can better understand human decision-making, our reasoning processes, our uncertainties, our values, and on building the right datasets to make this possible. By bridging human and machine understanding, we aim to create systems that collaborate with people rather than obscure or replace their judgment.

Most of our team is based in Greece, on the beautiful island of Crete. From here, we are building technology designed to push the boundaries of what AI can understand, explain, and do.
